Hussain Sajwani owns and operates a real estate development company in Dubai. He is an entrepreneur, and he acted upon an opportunity he projected in Dubai years before it became the metropolis it has since become. Hussain contributed a great deal to its transformation. He created his company in the city of Dubai, and he began by constructing hotels in this otherwise undeveloped area. His company is the DAMAC Group. He currently is the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Much has changed in Dubai since those early days, and the DAMAC Group has since developed tens of thousands of units in the city. Hussain Sajwani has developed large projects such as hotels, towers, multi-unit residential home communities, and golf course communities in Dubai. Hussain has partnered with President Donald Trump and his company, the Trump Organization, in the development of the golf courses, which are mixed use properties with luxury residential homes currently on the market for sale. The two men are friends as well as partners, and they have appeared in public together when the US President visited Dubai. The DAMAC Group is now a large, multi-national real estate development company, as well as a large employer in the area.
Hussain Sajwani is not new to business ownership. He knew at a young age that he would be in business for himself someday. Hussain has always been a creative, innovative entrepreneur. He worked for a while in real estate to help put himself through college. He attended college in the United States, at the University of Washington. Prior to founding DAMAC, he owned and operated a successful food catering company, which is still in operation. His real estate development company is still very active in Dubai, with new construction in the works there, and elsewhere in the world. Hussain currently resides in the United Arab Emirates.
Hussain Sajwani, personally and through the DAMAC Group, has favorite charitable organizations, to which he is an active supporter. He is a large contributor to the cause of disadvantaged children. His company also funds the charitable DAMAC Foundation.
